Family accommodation at Rondeberg Holiday Resort
Your family can choose from comfortable chalet, stone cottage, luxury house or camping and caravan park accommodation. All the accommodation is on a self-catering basis and is ideal for both family weekend outings, overnight stays or family holiday.
There are five comfortable Chalets available, as well as 4 new units (C6-C9). One of the Chalets can accommodate families or groups of up to eight people, two others up to six people in each one and up to four people in the other two units. The new units are preferably for Mom&Dad on their alone-getaways. These are Private, on the water’s edge and the epitome of Glamping.
Amenities in chalets include double beds and or single beds, kitchens, living areas as well as air-conditioning. The units also come with braai facilities and or shaded car ports.
Overlooking the sparkling pool and dam and accommodating couples or travelling companions, their three Stone Cottage Units are also popular with guests. These units can sleep two people each and are quite an experience. One of the units can sleep a family of four. ( Mom and Dad and 2 small kids)
Enjoy your shower in a stone bathroom enclosing a sycamore tree in one of the units. Inside, you will find double beds, a fully-equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a separate stone bathroom and air-conditioning.
The units also have private braai areas.
Their luxury, three-storey Waterfront House is ideal for large families, groups or those on corporate outings. It comes with five bedrooms – of which four are double bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, a living room with a built-in braai area, dining room and a fully-equipped old farm kitchen next to dining room. Mom’s will love to have a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The living area downstairs opens with double French doors onto the lawn joining the water of the Bulshoek Dam. The building also boasts an open stoep on top floor, with views to die for.
Families wanting to experience the great outdoors can join other outdoor enthusiast at the Camping & Caravan Park. It features several fully grassed sites. No need for ground sheet when camping.
For your comfort, the caravan park is well-provided for with meticulously clean bathroom facilities (including a family bathroom), electricity points as well as each with its own braai. Needless to say, the camping area offers magnificent views of the area. Read more here…

Facilities at Rondeberg Holiday Resort
Facilities at the resort include a Convenience Tuck Shop with eg braaihout, filtered water, cold drinks and ice, that you might need to make your stay comfortable.
There are also Conference Facilities / Recreation Hall available for family get-togethers or parties, for when the Covid-19 pandemic is behind us.
Other facilities include for a slipway to launch Dad’s boat on the dam, swings and jungle gym, as well as a swimming pool. Pedal Boats and Canoes are available to rent, bookings essential. Kids love the Duck Pond and to feed the ducks or try their hands at angling!
Popular things to do within the boundaries of Rondeberg Resort, include hiking, mountain biking and bird-watching and in flower season the most beautiful flowers.
Family activities in the area
There are several family-oriented activities and attractions in the Clanwilliam area, eg 4×4 trails, golf course, visit to a Rooibos Tea Farm, visit to one of the wine cellars, etc.
