Explore the Wonders of Cape Town by Kayak with Cape Kayak Adventures

Cape Kayak Adventures offer a unique and exhilarating way to experience the stunning landscapes and diverse marine life of Cape Town by paddling along The Table Marine Protected Area.

Kayaking around Cape Town provides a different perspective, allowing paddlers to view the beauty of the coastline and the iconic landmarks from the water.

All trips are guided and gentle in pace, and require no previous paddling experience.  The minimum age for a tour is six years and the maximum weight is 120kgs, with and average fitness level.

All kayak safety gear is included.  Sun screen, a hat, sunglasses, wind breaker and quick drying clothes are recommended, as well as motion sickness meds if you are prone to sea sickness.  Lockers are provided for your valuables.

Safety is a priority and all trips are weather dependent, and may have to be cancelled and rescheduled at the last minute due to unpredictable weather.

Their guides are passionate about the ocean, knowledgeable, professional and attentive, and take great pleasure in sharing what they have learned and love about the sea.

Cape Kayak Adventure tours embark from Three Anchor Bay where the kayaks are stored on the beach, and journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay. The trips cover two to three kilometres and last approximately two hours.

Morning trips are best to see wildlife, and although not guaranteed, you may encounter whales, dolphins, penguins and seals. Late afternoon trips offer the prospect of spectacular sunset views towards Clifton.

Uninterrupted views of the Cape’s spectacular mountain range including Signal Hill, Lions Head, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles is an unforgettable sight.

The trip to Granger Bay will take you past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and one of the favourite hangouts for the Heaviside dolphins, who are often companions on these thrips.

Cape Kayak Adventures make for great gift vouchers, and provide the perfect balance of relaxation and exhilaration.  The spectacular views and sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
