Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, now Gqeberha, Morgan Cadle discovered her love for storytelling at a young age and began writing at just ten years old. From the pages of old notebooks, her passion and talent grew, creating stories of love, adventure, and mystery. Drawing inspiration from her love of true crime, and with the help of her dedicated writing buddy, her debut novel focuses on compelling characters and gripping narratives.
Her Writing Journey
Throughout her life, writing has been her companion alongside her growing book collection. From experimenting with short stories to longer narratives, Morgan worked to refine her voice and storytelling style.
“For me, writing started as a hobby, but as I got older, it became something more. It was an escape and a way for me to bring my imagination to life,” says Morgan.
Her dedication remained steady through the pressures of high school and moments of writer’s block, and eventually led her to pursue a story that felt ready to be shared with the world.
