However, out of all the restaurants your city has to offer if you have children you have to make sure you select the kid-friendly restaurants, which can be quite the challenge sometimes.

Thankfully, in the city of Durban, families have no shortage of establishments to choose from. So, to help you select a kid-friendly restaurants in Durban, we at Kids Connection have comprised this list just for you. 

Atasca  

Situated in the north side of Durban, this Portuguese style restaurant is perfect for families with children. The cozy and traditional-style restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere for families while they dine on great food. 

The menu provides great selections. Customers can select starters like jalapeno poppers and fish cakes. Main meals range from grilled hake, calamari, half chicken, fillers, vegetarian platters, and spicy wings. Located along the beach front in the Bay of Plenty. With outdoor and indoor seating this beautiful cafe is right on the beach front and is another one of the kid-friendly restaurants Durban has to offer.

The menu at Circus Circus Cafe offers its customers an array of delicious meals to choose from. If you go over for breakfast you can choose from the farmhouse breakfast, a classic eggs benedict, and a ham and cheese croissants. The lunch and dinner side of the menu gives customers meals like crispy squid, chicken and jalapeno burgers, traditional alfredo. They even offer vegetarian meals like an Asian noodle bowl.

When it comes to family and kid-friendly restaurants, everybody knows and loves John Dory’s. The John Dory’s at Wilson’s Wharf, with its welcoming atmosphere, is perfect for families everywhere. While mom and dad sit back at the table the little ones can run around at the play area.  

Diners can enjoy a large array of great seafood. Choose from items such as a classic hake and chips, kingklip thermidor, as well as a good old surf and turf. The children’s side of the menu lets kids choose from items such as fish fingers and chips, a cheesy pizza, and hake and chips.

Their extensive menu offers something for everyone. Stop by for breakfast and enjoy a bambino, classic Benedicts, or a Spanish shakshuka. Lunch and dinner are also covered at this restaurant. Choose a light meal such as a mussel pan, or some Moroccan chicken pasta. The little ones can choose from dishes such as mac and cheese and Bolognaise penne.
