There are two main reasons why people like to eat out. The first is convenience, hence the plethora of fast food outlets, and second because they want an eating experience.
When it comes to having a good eating experience there are three elements that are required. The first being great service, the second being a pleasant ambiance and the third being good food. Of these the most important is the service. If you eat in a restaurant with mediocre food and OK atmosphere but great service you will no doubt have a pleasant experience. However, if you have excellent food, an amazing ambiance but terrible service you will have a frustrating and unhappy experience and likely never return to restaurant.

Thunder Gun Steakhouse
I have been visiting the Thunder Gun Steakhouse for almost fifty years and I have never had a bad experience. My earliest memory of eating out was at the Thunder Gun and the first time I had a chocolate Sunday was at the Thunder Gun. My siblings and I are now scattered about South Africa but every now and again we find some or all of us in Jo’burg and it is at the Thunder Gun that we enjoy meeting.
Expect great service and excellent steakhouse fare and, of course, a steakhouse vibe. They are particularly know for their amazing ribs. Smoke Daddy’s
Smoke Daddy’s has atmosphere like few other restaurants. The decor is over the top awesome and will every kid, old or young, enthralled. For families with young kids they have a fantastic outdoor play area and for those sitting inside you will need a good half hour to check out all the interesting artifact from a London Taxi to an old school bus.
The staff are highly trained and serve with a smile. The food is delicious and the menu extensive. From breakfast to light meals to their famous smoked ribs.
