This children’s party venue is located at a secluded, pristine holding along Glendore Road, Pari Park in Port Elizabeth. The environment is safe, quiet and yet stimulating, especially for children needing a respite from the humdrum of the City.
“Stone Castle has been in business for over 25 years,” explains Reagan Robinson, Manager at Stone Castle.
He says the idea for the venue came to his father after he noticed a gap in the market for children’s party venues in Port Elizabeth.
Despite several other kids party venues opening up in the Bay, Stone Castle has maintained its uniqueness.
“Stone Castle is different from other venues as it has the unique real life castle, surrounded by a large open grass space, with many large trees for climbing, and providing shade at the same time, for all types of various activities,” Robinson.
“Children have numerous obstacles in and around the castle, to keep them busy for hours.
This includes a slide, balance beams, firemen’s pole and abseiling rope.
“While the kids enjoy themselves, the parents have the availability of a braai facility and undercover lapa area used for tea, coffee and eats.”
Stone Castle is a self-catering kids party venue
He adds that because Stone Castle is a self-catering venue, any type of party is an option.
“Themed birthdays, family picnics, and corporate braai days are ever popular,” Robinson describes.
“With the large open space available, many children can attend the party. As many as the hosts (child’s parents) are willing to cater for and supervise. The venue is suitable for kids aging from one year, up until about 12 years old.”
Many people have come to associate Stone Castle and the Bush Camp brand.
Robinson explains; “The Bush Camp is a separate venue entirely to Stone Castle. As mentioned, Stone Castle is our self-catering venue. However, the Bush Camp is our licensed restaurant and function venue.”
He adds that Stone Castle does not only cater for kids parties, but can be used for all types of occasions, including bachelor/bachelorette parties, family get-togethers, school outings and corporate team building.
