The farm provides accommodation for up to sixteen guests in four separate cosy cottages.
Malachite Cottage, located next to the main farmhouse, is a charming stone cottage and features a private entrance and garden. The cozy interior includes a bedroom with a king-size bed and a sleeper couch in the lounge for two small children. A fully equipped kitchen, private boma with a fire pit, braai area, outdoor furniture, and a wood-fired hot tub create a perfect setup for a private and relaxing stay.
Three Additional Cottages, built using natural materials, each have two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan living area with a cosy fireplace. Guests can relax on the veranda, which includes a built-in braai and a wood-fired hot tub. For added accessibility, the Giant Kingfisher Cottage is wheelchair accessible.
Activities and attractions on the farm and nearby are many and varied and there is something of interest for the whole family. As one would expect, there is free Wi-Fi.
A biological Eco Pool has a unique swimming experience. This natural eco pool uses a three-tiered filtration system to maintain purity—no chemicals, just fresh, clean water.
For those interested in sustainable farming, Kingfisher Cottages offers an extensive trout farm tour, showcasing sustainable practices and ending with a sampling of freshly prepared trout products. Booking is required for this tour.
Several scenic well-marked hiking and running trails wind through the farm, leading to refreshing rock pools perfect for cooling off. Fishing is available at the farm dam, and guests can also pre-order fresh rainbow trout products, homemade health bread, and muesli rusks.
