The Surf School was started in 2000 by South African World Champion Surfing Coach, Etienne Venter. Venter is assisted by Tahra Uren and Tim Baard, both qualified surfers and coaches, who have become top ranked Pro Surf Tour surfers.
For parents, whose kids are passionate about surfing, Jeffrey’s Bay Surf School offers from an introduction into surfing for first timers to advanced surf lessons for those wanting to learn the skills that make surfing look so cool.
They also provide competitive coaching for those ready to show off what they can do in competitions with Venter’s guidance.
The highlight of the Surf Camp is where students can enjoy a few days off so that they can explore Jeffrey’s Bay including a guided visit to the local surf museum.
